I'm a business analyst, a business owner, and an accidental software builder.

I got tired of paying for software that almost did what I needed — so I built my own.

It started inside my home inspection business. The tools I needed either didn't exist, cost too much, or came with a pile of features I'd never use and none of the ones I actually needed. So I started building. What began as solving one annoying problem eventually became SquareOps — a full SaaS platform for inspection businesses.

I'm not a professional developer. I didn't go back to school for computer science. I understood the business problem — deeply — and I learned how to use AI to help me build the solution.

Just Build the Thing grew out of that experience.

It exists to help other non-developers turn their own ideas into working products — without pretending it's magic, and without waiting for permission.
